Mr Johnsons Natural Oyster Shell Grit

Mr Johnsons Natural Oyster Shell Grit (soluble grit) dissolves in the digestive system, providing the bird with extra calcium for strong bones and good strong egg shells.  Mineralised grit is needed in order for the birds to successfully grind their food and oyster shell grit in order to help ensure sufficient calcium levels for good egg production.

An essential part of a Chicken’s diet as they require a high level of calcium. Egg shells will become thin and brittle without a sufficient level. Even if the shells are healthy, extra grit in the diet will not harm the birds.

Please note, grit is best fed on the ground or from a poultry grit feeder.

We recommend storing in a dry and cool place.
