Who We Are
Holsworthy Pets is an independent pet shop in North Devon, catering for dogs, cats, fish, aviary birds, small animals, wild birds, reptiles, as well as having frozen food available for both dogs and snakes. We stock a large selection of food, treats, toys and accessories for all ranges, and our selection of natural dog treats just keeps growing! We also offer local delivery. Holsworthy Pets started as a pet stall on the markets in 2015, where we traded around Devon and Cornwall. An opportunity arose in 2016, to move into a small shop in Holsworthy, which we quickly outgrew. In June 2017 we moved into a much larger shop, which is where we are now.
Over the years we have developed our ranges, and now have a huge range of top quality products. We have built a reputation for great customer service, and come highly recommended by several highly regarded dog trainers, both for our nutritional advice and for our harness fitting service. We also have a large range and understanding of enrichment toys.
In 2023, Holsworthy Pets was nominated for an Animal Star Award. Although we didn’t quite reach the top spot, we did walk away with a finalist award and of course a massive smile!
Community spirit is at the core of our values and we are extremely proud to be the main sponsor of the Holsworthy Under 7’s Youth Football team! As a small business with big dreams we have lots of things planned and to look forward too as well as an amazing team to get us there, so watch this space!

What We Do
At Holsworthy Pets, we offer a one stop pet shop for all your pets needs.
We have trained professionals, who are knowledgeable in nutrition, enrichment, husbandry, and many other aspects of pet care.
Dogs
For dogs we have over 75 natural treats in our doggy deli and freezer, pre-packaged treats from biscuits to meaty bites. We stock wet, dry, and raw foods from brands such as:

Cats

In store we offer free harness fitting and adjustments, as well as stocking the Perfect Fit harness range.
We have a huge range of cat and dog toys, accessories for all occasions, more medications and shampoos than you can shake a stick at, and a double door upright freezer!
We offer an unrivalled selection of wild bird food and accessories. An extensive range of small animal and caged bird food, treats and accessories, we even have fish food and accessories covered too!
We have done our best to ensure we have what you need, when you need it, and on the odd occasion you’re after something we don’t stock, we will try our utmost to source it for you!
