Who We Are
Stable Door Pets is an independent pet shop in North Cornwall, catering for horses, dogs, cats, small holders, fish, aviary birds, small animals, wild birds and reptiles, as well as having frozen food available for dogs, cats, reptiles, and birds of prey. We stock a large selection of food, treats, toys and accessories for all ranges, and our selection of natural dog treats just keeps growing! We also offer local delivery. Stable Door Pets started its life as Stable Door Feeds in 2006, in a small unit on the site that it is now. The founders quickly outgrew the small unit, so shortly moved to a mid size unit and then to the large unit we’re in now. The name changed to Stable Door Pets and the ranges developed and started catering more towards pets than the business had done previously.
After 16 years of running the business, the founders decided to take a well earned retirement, so in November 2022 Stable Door Pets joined Holsworthy Pets in the West Country Pets family.
We are now building on the amazing foundations, and adding to the already huge offering. Our reputation for great customer service has preceded us, as well as our knowledge and expertise in the industry.
We were extremely excited in 2023, when we discovered that (like our Holsworthy shop) we too were nominated for an Animal Star Award by our customers! Sadly we didn’t get into the finals with this shop (congratulations to Holsworthy for getting through), however to even be nominated after such a short time being at the helm is a wonderful feeling, and it’s all thanks to our fantastic team!

We have a huge selection of harnesses, and offer free harness fitting and adjustments.
There are over 200 different cat and dog toys, a massive area of the shop dedicated to accessories, more medications and shampoos than you can shake a stick at, and 3 double door upright freezers!
We offer an unrivalled selection of wild bird, pet bird and small animal food, treats and accessories, we even have fish covered too! We stock frozen reptile and prey bird food, and can get in most accessories for you too!
